Wineport Lodge, Co. Westmeath
At Fáilte Ireland, we’re committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is valued and everyone is treated fairly and respectfully. This applies to everyone regardless of gender, civil status, family status, sexual orientation, age, disability, race, religion or membership of the Traveller community.
Our partnerships
We work with a range of organisations, including the Irish Centre for Diversity and Open Doors. The Irish Centre for Diversity aims to help organisations embed Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement (FREDIE) across their culture and practices.
Since 2023, Fáilte Ireland has participated in their Investors in Diversity programme. This enables us to recognise, measure and improve our efforts to foster Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in Fáilte Ireland. This supports us in recognising, measuring and improving our efforts to foster equity, diversity and inclusion across the organisation. As a result, we received Bronze accreditation in 2023 and Silver accreditation in 2024.
What does this mean?

The Bronze accreditation recognises Fáilte Ireland’s commitment to fostering a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion. Achieving Bronze status means that Fáilte Ireland has established a strong foundation in these areas and is committed to continuous improvement, supporting a workplace where all individuals feel respected and valued.

The Silver accreditation affirms that Fáilte Ireland is benchmarked against other organisations and has embedded inclusive practices across the organisation. It also reflects the development of a culture where fairness and belonging are actively supported among colleagues.
Open Doors' purpose is to create pathways to work, education and entrepreneurship for marginalised groups in Ireland, including refugees, asylum seekers, people with disabilities and disadvantaged young people.
Reasonable accommodation
We’re committed to providing reasonable accommodation throughout the recruitment process to ensure candidates have the best experience during the application and interviewing process.

Gender pay gap
We’re pleased to publish our gender pay gap reporting information for 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. The gender pay gap is the difference in the average hourly wage of men and women across our workforce, regardless of the nature of their work.
